July 2017
We are currently undertaking ground stabilisation works at Pinner Wood school in Harrow, London to treat historical chalk mine workings and as well as chalk solution features which have been located on the site. The project involves site investigation drilling to determine the extent of these anomalies, underground laser scanning surveys to determine the extent of mine voids, grout infilling of located mine voids and compaction grouting of the collapsed or filled mine areas and solution features. The school has been temporarily closed while the stabilisation work is taking place. The contract is expected to be complete in November 2017.
