In June, our Mill Lane Project Team collaborated with our client, Severn Trent, to take part in a ‘Community Litter Pick’ organised by Severn Trent Water in liaison with Stoke City Council. Following a mid-morning street and park walk in Burslem, the afternoon concentrated on a heavily littered area beneath Queens Avenue bridge near Victoria Park and in total over 20 bags of litter were collected! Together, we are already planning our next litter pick near to our Etruria works in August, no doubt this time, with waterproofs and brollies at the ready!
