December 2019

Forkers Scotland has been awarded a £1.3m contract to treat historical oil shale mine workings as part of a large, new urban development at Winchburgh Village, West Lothian.  The works will involve the stabilisation of the Upper Grey, Grey, Upper and Main Shale seams which make up the Broxburn Shale beneath the footprint of 3G sports pitches adjacent to a proposed new secondary school facility.  Site works commence on Monday 9th December 2019 and are expected to be complete by late March 2020.
