At the start of August we successfully renewed our Investors in People accreditation. We recognise that our employees are our greatest asset and the Investors in People standard (or IIP) is the respected benchmark of good people management practice in the UK. The nationally accepted standard sets out a level of good practice for the training and development of employees to achieve business goals and having the Investors in People accreditation has lead to; a more structured approach to employee development, greater flexibility in meeting training and development needs, improved capability and expertise of
employees and more effective use of resources for professional development
