Last week saw the commencement of a £450k embankment stabilisation contract near Dent Station, Sedburgh in Cumbria. The Rise Hill stabilisation scheme involves completing drainage improvements to a saturated embankment including provision of a 450mm diameter auger bore beneath the embankment together with outfall pipework and toe drain improvements.
