November 2011

November 2011 - The £850k Strathbungo Mine Workings Consolidation project for Glasgow City Council started on 7th November. The scheme involves drilling and grouting stabilisation of coal workings under residential housinging. It is anticipated that over 1500 drill holes and 8,000 tones of infill grout will be required on the scheme. Drilling work will be carried out from the roads and backcourts around the properties using extensive angle hole drilling to minimise disruption.
