It is with great sadness that we need to advise everyone that our Managing Director, Peter Watson, finally lost his 3 year battle against cancer on 27th June 2022 surrounded by his family at St Giles Hospice. Indeed many people were not aware that he had been so ill as he was a very private and proud man, who lived for his family and for Forkers, so this news will come as a shock to many of you.  Peter was still working up to the very end.

Our deepest condolences extend to his wife, Steph, daughters Amelia & India, and his son Benny during this very difficult time.

Peter joined Forkers in 1979 as a site engineer and has been our Managing Director since 1998.  He has been the cornerstone of this company for over 43 years and will be a massive loss to all of us who have had the privilege of working with him and knowing him as a person. He was not just a colleague but was a real friend to us all.  We will be forever indebted to his loyalty, dedication and his leadership in establishing this company to where it is today. Peter is so respected amongst his fellow peers and especially our clients that his name will forever remain synonymous with the Forkers company name.

Rest in Peace Peter – you will be sorely missed and thank you for your committment.
