July 2011 - Stoke-on-Trent Bus Station Enabling Works. The Contract starts on 18th July.

Work has commenced on the enabling works contract for the new Stoke-on-Trent Bus Station. The £630k scheme involves stabilisation of old mine workings and advance earthworks to create a new development platform for the wave inspired bus station design in John Street, Hanley. The new bus station is the first phase of a £350 million new regional shopping centre.
