We have received an International CSR Excellence Award for the Field Road Chalk Mine Stabilisation contract in Reading which was completed in 2012. The contract involved accessing 57 properties to complete investigation drilling followed by extensive drilling and grouting treatment of the located chalk mine workings under the properties. A structured customer care strategy was established and managed by a dedicated site liaison officer which, together with careful planning and choice of treatment techniques ensured we were able to minimise the intrusive impacts of the work. Commendations have been received from the client and from all members of the project team.
