We are currently undertaking 5 drainage renewal schemes in Highways England Area 7 (East Midlands), the schemes involve a range of drainage activities including; ditch clearance, gulley renewal, pipe repairs,
surface water pipelines and manholes as well as filter drain stone replacement and recycling. The schemes are; A5 Lindley Lodge and A5 River Swift (nr Athestone), A1 Barrowby, A45 Wilby Way – Barnes Interchange,
and A5 Willey Headwall. Extensive traffic management is required for each scheme with much of the work being undertaken at night.
