Water, Waste Water and Utilities

Forkers has been undertaking water and waste water schemes for water companies, local authorities and private clients for over 45 years. Our in depth experience in main drainage, sewerage, waste water treatment and water supply covers a complete range of drainage solutions, construction techniques, ground conditions and contract values. In addition, we also complete power, gas, communications and multi-utility installations for a wide range of clients.

The company has been appointed as a Lot 2 framework contractor with Severn Trent Water for its AMP7 Capital Expenditure programme which runs from 2020 to 2025 and covers sewerage and clean water infrastructure as well as sewage treatment schemes and other non-infrastructure work. This follows our successful framework agreements with Severn Trent Water during AMP3 & AMP4 (2000 - 2011) and our work as a Tier 2 delivery partner for Tier 1 framework contractors Amey, NMC Nomenca, Costain and MWH during Severn Trent's AMP5 and AMP6 capital investment programmes (2010 - 2020). The company has also been recently engaged as a specialist Tier 2 contractor on Welsh Water's AMP6 Capital Delivery Alliance framework carrying out infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.

Due to the urban location of many sewerage schemes, the impact on the public and on traffic can be significant. We have achieved notable successes in managing customer care issues and our site managers have been rewarded with many awards and commendations from Clients, Tier 1 Contractors and members of the public who were affected by the work.
