Forkers has been undertaking main drainage and sewerage schemes for the water industry, local authorities and private clients for over 30 years. Our in depth experience in this field covers a complete range of drainage solutions, construction techniques, ground conditions and contract values. Following our successful framework agreements with Severn Trent Water during AMP3 & AMP4 the company is now a delivery partner with Enterprise PLC on Severn Trent’s AMP5 capital investment programme.

Due to the urban location of many sewerage schemes, the impact on the public and on traffic can be significant. We have achieved notable successes in managing customer care issues and our site managers have been rewarded with ‘Customer Service Champions’ awards from Severn Trent Water.

Our portfolio of work in the water sector also includes River, Canal and Watercourse Improvement schemes. Reconstruction and protection projects to rivers, watercourses and canals involving sheet piling, capping beams, gabions & revetments, channel cleaning & re-grading, de-silting, outfalls, overflows & balancing ponds, weirs & flow control structures, listed bridge reconstruction, high quality brickwork, stonework and in situ concrete construction, footpaths, moorings and other amenity improvements.
