Forkers Scotland

Forkers Scotland Ltd.

In November 2011 we moved our office and plant depot from Livingston to new premises in Grangemouth near Falkirk. The new location is ideally situated to provide quick access and support for our operations throughout Scotland.

In recent years we have had significant success in securing major mine workings and mineshaft stabilisation schemes in Scotland and a key target of the Scottish office is to increase our client base and turnover in this area of work. However, we are also extending our local service capability to provide the full range of Forker Group civil and ground engineering services to the Scottish construction market. In addition we are targeting renewable energy and wind farms as key business growth areas both nationally and particularly in the Scottish region.

Since opening in October 2010 our Scottish office has secured a significant number of mineworkings stabilisation and site investigation schemes including;

  • Tollcross Aquatic Centre, Glasgow
  • Govanhill Housing blocks, Glasgow
  • A9 Laurieston Bypass, Falkirk
  • Niddrie Burn, Edinburgh
  • Armadale, new residential development
  • Strathbungo Mine Workings Consolidation scheme in Glasgow
  • Forth Replacement Crossing - Fife ITS
  • Cowdenbeath Wetlands Minefilling
  • Larkhall, St Mary's Primary School
  • Jordanhill - Mineworkings Consolidation scheme in Glasgow

Please contact the Grangemouth office for full details of the range and scope of Services that we are now able to offer in the Scottish Region.
